While there have been many minor changes to specification over the 27 years that the car was in production, the main 3 models have been the 594cc and 652cc air-cooled cars and the 704cc water-cooled 126 BIS. Variants on these have mainly been minor matters like sunroofs, trim levels and opening rear windows.
